Getting to the race
Different options apply depending on whether you arrive in Bray Thursday / Friday or only on Saturday morning.
AIRPORT TRANSFER
TRAIN: Bray is accessible from either Dublin City Centre or Greystones by DART, Dublin’s commuter train.
BUS AND COACH
- Aircoach offers hourly transfers from Dublin Airport to Bray and Greystones: aircoach.ie

PRIVATE CAR:
Bray offers limited car parking spaces. It is strongly recommended to use public transport to get to Bray Seafront.
PARK & RIDE: Greystones offers FREE Park & Ride facilities for anyone travelling by car. Info and location at: parkopedia.ie/greystones/ This offers free parking all day and is close to Greystones DART station where you can catch the DART to Bray. DART time table to Greystones here.
TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE EVENT ON THE 30TH OF SEPTEMBER
For those not staying in the Bray area, we recommend the following:
Public Transport
The DART train line operates from Dublin to Bray. Please check their time table HERE
The 133 Bus services Newtownmountkennedy (Parkview, Glenview). The 185 bus connects Bray and Enniskerry and the 145 and 155 buses connect Dublin City Centre to Bray
Note for 80k runners
80k must take the private race shuttle to arrive in time for registration. This must be booked in advance: HERE
Private Cars
Please avoid the R768 (Southern Cross Road) past Kilruddery if entering Bray via Exit 7 off the N11 as Hell & Back participants will travel in on this route (2000-3000 cars) and you run risk of severe delays if going this way. Use the R767 (Boghall Road) out of the Brennanstown Round-about instead or Exit 8 (faster).
Parking: Official Event Parking for 47km, 30km and 19km ONLY is at Presentation College. Parking is limited to Eco trail participants only until 10.30am in time for the last race-start at 11.00. Supporters can then park at a nominal fee of €5 per car if space is available. All must have vacated college by 6pm latest. Any race participant who expects to finish later than 30 minutes before closing time, should NOT park at Presentation College.
