COACHING
Running Coach Ireland are the official coaching partner of EcoTrail Wicklow. Owned by René Borg and supported by Eoin Flynn from our race organisation, the RCI coaching team specialise in trail and mountain running. René Borg has worked with noteable athletes such as Irish international Barry Minnock, Eoin Flynn and Irish Champion Jason Kehoe as well as Lakeland 100 winner Paul Tierney. In EcoTrail 2019, he coached Julie McNamee to a fine 2nd placed finsih in the ladies 80k race and a 3rd placed finish in the Kerry Way Ultra 2020.
